The Obscene New York Times

The obscenity of this item from the Lede blog in today's New York Times has left me speechless. Yes, you read it right--Robert Mackey cites Israeli bloggers who equate Israeli actions against the terrorist sponsored Gaza flotilla with the British raid on The Exodus ship bringing Holocaust survivors to Palestine in 1947!!!

Meanwhile, the hundreds of flotilla "activists" are being processed by Israeli authorities and are being given the option of being detained or deported! Right--just like those pesky Jews back in 1947...

P.S. Isn't it interesting that there's been no list released of the names of the "victims." Wouldn't you think some family member of organization would have claimed them by now? Couldn't be that they were known members of terror organizations, could it??

Is this the offending Times commentary:

Several hours of fighting followed, with the ship’s passengers spraying fuel oil and throwing smoke bombs, life rafts and whatever else came to hand, down on the British sailors trying to board, The Times reported at the time.

That's right, anonymous. Try to equate people who'd survived concentration camps fleeing for their lives with no country open to them with some "activists" trying to make political propaganda sponsored by terrorist groups. Take a look at this if you're interested in what Israeli soldiers encountered: http://dover.idf.il/IDF/English/News/today/10/05/3105.htm
